So I've been thinking lately about how I could go about reducing the amount of waste I make and stumbled upon this video. I found it really interesting, I hadn't even thought about making my own beauty products with it (which would really help because my skin reacts badly to a lot of soaps and shampoos). Also since developing my dairy allergy I've been eating a lot more vegan food, and while I still love my meat, I feel like I could live without it.
Is this something you've thought about? What sort of things do you do to reduce the amount of waste you produce (if anything)?
I guess I'll create the first actual thread in here, but I've been on Forum Promotion since 2011, and I still occasionally go on there looking for communities up my alley to join. Anywho, over the years I've noticed some of the same users creating the same forum over and over, albeit with a different name. First I thought that maybe they just like having multiple sites with the same topic, but then from the ones I've joined, it'll be busy for the first month, and then the owner stops caring, and then it'll be dead in a month. Then you'll notice they delete the forum, and a couple months later they make another one. The cycle then repeats.
What are your thoughts on people like this? I do understand that sometimes you just gotta shut down your forum because of lack of time, or whatever other reason. Or you think it's best to just kill off a site and start anew. Though at the same time, it does get silly when, for example, you see Bob make his 5th Zelda forum. In a way it makes me feel bad not wanting to give Bob another chance when I see him make another Zelda forum. Though at the same time, I end up ignoring it when I notice Bob made the forum, and I know he's going to delete it in a couple months and make another one.
There's an unclaimed Gym near my house (where I used to do brownies) but I'm only level 2. Also the milk bar just around the corner is one as well (under control by Team Red) which is pretty funny
In essence a modular computer architecture where you can switch to a newer/different CPU architecture by swapping a cartridge.
It looks pretty cool.
I like the idea that it is trying to adhere as best as practical to open/libre hardware/software principles.
I also like the idea that I could get an artisan to make me a laptop that could last and at least performance wise last 10-15 years.
Considering backing but it will have to wait until I regenerate my cash reserves.
With the Summer coming around the corner, I think it'd be appropriate to ask if you guys have any vacation plans this year.
I plan on maybe going to Wildwood again in July, which is a shoreside tourist/vacation spot around here that I've been going to since I was very young.
With the end of March nearing, most of us are also putting the cold weather behind for a while.Â
What's your guys' favorite season? Everyone has their different preference, after all.
Spring is my favorite season. Not too warm, not freezing outside, and has a fair amount of both Sun and Rain. Both of which I enjoy depending on how I'm feeling.
