I couldn't sleep like that on a bench in the middle of the street on a busy shopping district.

RE: General Chat Thread - Sprink - 10-13-2016

I'm all tuckered out after spending only a small sum of my riches, please don't rob me for I am an okay fellow.

RE: General Chat Thread - Grungie - 10-14-2016

Well I wasted $10 on something kind of stupid. One of my favorite Indie music labels was having a $5 sale on albums. So I picked up a few CD's for that price. Well CD's weren't the only thing on sale for $5, so were cassettes, because Polyvinyl Records still releases cassette tapes for some reason. So I said fuck it, why not? My sound system I got from my dad is from the 90's, and has a cassette deck. Also I still have tapes I bought like 15+ years ago.

My friends really wouldn't be surprised, because I'm known as the guy at work with a music collection.

Are you going to show your music collection to the public

RE: General Chat Thread - Grungie - 10-14-2016

You want pics or something? Idk, I'm kind of lazy for that, and I don't really post pics of my room much.

RE: General Chat Thread - Sprink - 10-16-2016

Don't have to, but I personally have minor curiosities regarding things like that, probably a nosy trait.

I buy vinyl and cassettes from time to time. I haven't amassed a large collection yet. But there is something about having a tangible analogue recording of something that appeals.

RE: General Chat Thread - Grungie - 10-17-2016

I tend to buy older albums on vinyl, because they were produced on analog, for analog. I think a lot of more modern albums that are digitally produced and then released on vinyl do kind of feel like the vinyl version is more of a novelty item. One of the cassettes I bought was American Football's , where you can hear that it was recorded on tape, because I can hear the tape hissing and tape distortion on it.
