Anime List users - Sprink - 01-26-2016

Do you track your copious amounts of Anime viewing on an Anime List site, you darn weeaboo? If so, this thread's for you.

If you're unaware of what the hell I'm talking about, there's several websites with communities that are dedicated to tracking your Anime/Manga indulgence. The most popular 3 websites for this are:

MyAnimeList

Hummingbird

AniList

If you begin using one of these sites, or already use them, feel free to share your ID's here, and I'll add them to this post.

(PS. If you list an ID, but don't post a URL, make sure to specify which site you're using.)

ID's:
Sprink (Hummingbird)

Grungie (Hummingbird)

Crazysam23 (Hummingbird)

Queenie (Hummingbird)

Queenie (MAL)

Crackin355 (MAL)

Mason (MAL)

Oh, we have MAL users!

I really need to start updating my MAL again, but it's so disorganized compared to my Hummingbird. I'm tempted to clear it and start fresh.

RE: Anime List users - Crackin355 - 01-28-2016

I used to use AniList but I was converted to MAL because all the people on the boards used it. However, it was good timing because AniList messed up somehow and all my completed/on-hold/watching/plan to watch were all jumbled up so I had completed shows in the plan to watch area and etc.

I did like how it had a full decimal rating system though, MAL just has 1-10, I can only really hope that people see it as; 9-10=watch them, 7-8=good shows, 5-6=decent shows, 3-4=don't recommend, 1-2=garbage, but given how there are people that rate only on the 8-10 scale they might think that I just hate a lot of the stuff that I read/watch which really isn't true.

anyway, Hummingbird and AniList kill my ipad but MAL works fine so I guess I made the right choice. I don't know if any of the others work with MALgraphs either, because I really like that since it has achievements, recommendations and some other cool statistics.

I'd say MAL is the most thorough list site, while Hummingbird is just the most pleasing aesthetically. Anilist has been lacking over the days though. I don't remember why I switched from MAL actually. It might have been because I was able to just get "Sprink" on Humminbbird but still had to use "Sprinklepock" on MAL and I actually care about my username looking short and neat for some reason.

A lot of people I've come across these days just seem to be very Black & White with rating. Either something was great to them, or it was crap, which would make the "Everything is either 8-10 or 1-2" trend of rating things make a lot more sense. What they don't understand is 5 is Average, which means while it may be nothing special it's still probably not bad.

Pretty much almost never touch it, though.

If it's any bit of a problem I could just mark users such as yourself who hardly touch their profiles with an (Inactive) tag.

Also turns out I do have Sprink as a username on MAL. Silly me. I should spruce up that list and add it to the OP for the heck of it.
